Position: Advanced Imaging Specialist

Overview of Position:
The AIS is responsible for the sales and support of advanced Nikon microscopes and associated instrumentation within the designated territory (mainly but not limited to Multi-Photon and Super Resolution products). Territory covered: Western Canada,
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support to customers and target prospects by way of but not limited to presentations, training, quotes, demos and technical information as required by developing Sales plan to achieve sales and product mix budgets for Products
- Managing information in the form of microscopy technical specs, client history and contact information, competition equipment and strategies, funding availability (i.e. CFI), accurate quotations, new equipment upgrades/innovations, sales points for equipment, shipping and inventory info from Head Office, and service/technical documentation and implementation.
- Schedule and perform demonstration of imaging and confocal product plus install and provide customer training and support of all Products sold.
- Recommend improvements and provide feedback to product management emerging technologies and applications. Any additional duties as assigned by General Manager of MS and Regional Sales Manager.
Essential Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience:
- University Degree within the science field preferred. 3-4 years of sales experience preferably in the microscopy industry would be an asset.
- A high degree of computer literacy required, must be efficient within a Windows environment: Outlook, Word, Excel. Must be adept to learning and navigating new software quickly
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Working Conditions:
This is a remote position based out of BC or Alberta.
