As the Marketing Coordinator, you should have a thirst for technology and a passion for creativity. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of various marketing programs within Canada that align with the company's business objectives and enhance brand visibility. You will collaborate and assist the Sales & Marketing team to build and execute digital marketing campaigns, events and social media initiatives. Assist with product demonstrations at tradeshows and retailer events. This role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for photography and consumer electronics.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director, Sales & Marketing and Assistant Marketing Manager in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns for Nikon products in the Canadian market.
- Collaborate and assist with the development of marketing materials, including print, digital, and social media content.
- Coordinate and execute marketing events, trade shows, and sponsorships to promote Nikon products and enhance brand awareness.
- Assist in managing social media platforms and create engaging content to increase audience engagement and reach.
- Support the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns customer segments.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Canadian photography market.
- Collaborate with sales teams to support their efforts with marketing materials and promotional tools.
- Assist in coordinating product launches and marketing activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Support the coordination of partnerships and sponsorships with relevant industry organizations and influencers.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, social media engagement, and lead generation through monthly reporting
- Maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and customer information.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Nikon products and competitive landscape
- Understanding of marketing channels, including Web, Social, Print, Retail, Tradeshow/Events
- Strong organizational and executional skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, technical aptitude and presentation skills
- Experience with graphic design and producing engaging digital content (such as web banners, videos, articles, etc)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe In-Design & Illustrator required
- Understanding of industry standard photo and video software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci required
- Ability to travel up to 20% (includes possible overnight and/or international travel)
- Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed
- 2 Year College Certificate or Diploma
- 5+ years experience
- Technology and Imaging industry experience would be an asset
