Red Hot Camera
This is my first Nikon purchase. I purchased the Nikon Cookpix P510 on May 8, 2012. I am thrilled! It is gorgeous, user friendly and takes awesome photos. Thank you Nikon for making this great advanced point and shoot camera. As a photo enthusiast, I can hardly wait to learn all its features.

Just bought the P510
Honestly, this isn't your normal 5 star review. I haven't really gotten the chance to play to much with my camera. I'm giving it 5 stars for durability! Only I could drop the camera on cement from about 4 feet in the air before really using it. My stomach dropped, but besides a couple nicks in the plastic, the camera held up completely! I owned a P100 and that had a 26x zoom with 10.3 mp's and I literally got craters in the moon while on full digital focus while on tripod. I can already say that they REALLY improved the image stability while fully zoomed like that with the P510 compared to the P100. (by the way.. make sure you secure the strap properly.. that was my mistake)

So much fun
I bought this camera for many reasons, the red color of the body (beautiful rich color) the zoom is amazing, easy to hold onto, easy features, nice size. I took a picture of a tree in my yard just after it rained, the camera picked up the tiny water droplets on the leaf and the flower, absolutely gorgeous , I am writing this review on my iPad and would upload the picture but not sure how to do that from the iPad. Overall, I love this camera and recommend it to anyone who loves taking pictures.

Great pictures
I purchased this camera 10 days ago. I took the camera to my grandson's baseball game, granddaughter's soccor game, party and holy communion. I shot 334 images in two days plus videos. I was so impressed with the color and quality of the images. It is easy to use and I highly recommend this camera. After seeing the pictures, my daughter went out and purchased the same camera. The zoom is incrediable. This is the best camera that I have ever owned.
I have one concern: the battery door latch can easily be opened in normal operations. One recommendation: instructional DVD demonstrating the features and how to maximize the usability of this great equipment.

Excellent package!!!
Thanks for all the reviews and blogs,also for this perfect site, I do relied on you.. Got it yesterday, and been exploring everything about this camera. Few months ago, I had been eyeing for a different brand, not when I personally compared it with Nikon. People have told so much about this camera, but there's one thing I love about Nikon, it's the grip!
