- Generally, DX lenses are more affordable than FX lenses.
- Generally, maximum aperture (faster f/stop) lenses have a premium price tag
- Generally, fixed aperture NIKKOR zoom lenses maintain the maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range, and therefore have a premium price tag
